A negotiation table in a failing shelter
BUNKER: RED FLAG puts a group of survivors around one table in an isolated bunker after a global catastrophe. Resources are short, so someone has to be thrown out every round. Each player holds hidden information about their character: pre-catastrophe profession, skills, phobias and other traits. The match opens with the system explaining what happened and what the group needs to accomplish inside the shelter, so keep that context in mind when you make your case — a trait that looks useless can matter later. In the first round you reveal your profession plus a few traits you pick yourself, and you decide how to play that information: tell the truth, keep inconvenient details to yourself, or reframe a weak trait as your biggest asset.
Playing it with your group
Matches run with 4 to 12 players, and the Steam features list Online PvP, so your group can fill the table together. After the reveals, discussion opens up: players argue, question each other, and point at a candidate for elimination. If the first round feels too early to cut someone, players can raise a hand before the timer runs out to vote the elimination away — but if the majority does not support skipping, the readiness bar for a normal vote appears and someone leaves anyway. Voting continues round after round until only half of the original group remains. Getting into the shelter is not a win condition on its own.
What to watch besides the other players
The shelter itself is a second opponent. Its life-support systems degrade as the match goes on, and events change the survival conditions in ways that can flip the whole game. In the finale the system judges whether the remaining group can make it, weighing the shelter's condition against professions, skills, health, and the traits players kept hidden. Three catastrophe locations set the mood: a nuclear fallout shelter with contaminated surface outside, an orbital space station after an unknown threat destroyed Earth, and a dragon's ancient dungeon full of wandering souls. If you get eliminated, you respawn as a cockroach and keep watching the match from a different angle. The game is in Early Access, so expect things to still be moving.
