A cabin you escape with cards
the cabin game is a first-person horror game for 1 to 4 players. You wake up trapped inside a cabin, and the only way out is a game of cards. The hands you're dealt unlock clues hidden around the building, and those clues point toward the exit. The catch is that every card you play can twist the cabin itself: rooms shift, events fire off, and the environment reacts to what you put on the table. The cards are shuffled fresh at the start of each run, so no two games hand you the same options and no turn plays out the same way twice.
Playing it with your group
You can go in alone or bring up to three friends. Everyone's choices feed into everyone else's, so carrying a teammate or getting carried both matter. The rooms of the cabin aren't fixed either — they get laid out as the game goes on, designed by the players themselves. Place a room carelessly early and you may feel it hours later, since certain events punish or reward decisions made at the start. When the final hour arrives, your group has to decide between escaping together, dying together, or splitting up and looking out for yourself.
What to know before you start
the cabin game is in Early Access, so expect things to change as development moves along. It runs on procedural generation, which is why the layout and the events keep shifting between runs. There's character customization, and a mode called The Boo Factory where you collect candy as currency to spend on character looks, lobby items and pets, plus tricks and treats to use in-game against your friends. The game carries a photosensitivity warning: it contains strobing and flashing lights that could trigger seizures in a small percentage of people.
