What World of Myths is

World of Myths is a card battler built around mythologies, where the usual card game habits get in the way. Units do not attack each other one on one. They attack and defend as a group, and instead of health points they have Endurance, which counts how many battles a unit can take part in. That single change reshapes how you read the board: a unit with Endurance left is still a threat, and a fresh unit is a resource you spend by committing it to fights.

You build a deck and pick a leader to guide it. Each mythology has four deities, each with its own passive ability, and if the situation calls for it you can summon the leader onto the board to fight alongside your units. The Egyptian Mythology expansion is live as well.

How a group plays it together

Play is online PvP and turn-based, so you queue up matches against other players rather than sharing a table. Two roads lead to victory: destroy all of your opponent's temples, or kill their leader. Temples are not just life totals — each one grants different spoils when you win the attack on it, so choosing which temple to push is a strategic decision in itself, not just a step toward ending the game.

Because you pledge to a mythology, your group can split along faction lines and see which gods hold up. Faction Wars let you compete over a World Map, which gives a longer-running reason to keep playing the same faction with the same people.

Before you start

The game is Free To Play and in Early Access, so systems can still shift while it's being developed. Expect a learning curve on the group combat and Endurance rules if you come from games where units trade hits and carry health bars. Picking a mythology early pays off: the game rewards players who stick with one faction and bring it glory, and each mythology's four deities give you different passive tools to build around.
