A body-camera tactical shooter

Bodycam is a multiplayer FPS built in Unreal Engine 5 where you see everything through a body camera lens. There is no crosshair, no ammo counter, and no HUD, so you have to read the situation yourself. The camera work, optics, sound, and exposure are modeled on real footage to make firefights feel raw and loud. Your arms, torso, legs, and weapon are physically connected through the True Body system, which takes some getting used to but makes movement feel natural once it clicks. Reloads run on a dynamic system with calm and stressed states, so under pressure your operator can fumble or rush the action instead of playing a fixed animation.

Playing with your group

Bodycam covers several ways to team up. Wingman is a 2v2 Search & Destroy mode where communication, positioning, and precision decide each round, with no hero abilities, killstreaks, or movement exploits. Body Bomb is 5v5. Team Deathmatch, Deathmatch, Hardpoint, and Gun Game offer faster firefights, and a round-based co-op Zombies mode puts your group against infected hordes where you manage ammo, unlock areas, restore power, and survive escalating waves. Maps range from CQB buildings and forests to abandoned hospitals and the new Trenches map, which mixes tight trench network fights with long sightlines across open ground. FPV drones and RC vehicles let you scout, gather intel, and strike targets for the squad.

Before you start

Expect a learning curve. The lack of HUD means you track ammo and status yourself, and the True Body movement takes time to adapt to. Weapon customization runs deep, with hundreds of attachments that change how a gun handles, so you will want time at the Bodycam Shooting Range HUB to test builds, tune FPV drone settings, and practice before heading into matches. Audio matters: real-time sound propagation, reverb, occlusion, and spatial audio turn footsteps and gunfire into information you can act on. Bodycam is in Early Access, so maps, weapons, systems, and gameplay continue to change through updates shaped by community feedback.
