What Pinball Wicked is

Pinball Wicked is a virtual pinball simulation built on Unreal Engine 5, with accurate ball physics, a modular gameplay system, and a dynamic lighting and effects system that can sequence hundreds of lights. The table included is Original Table #1, Black Flaggers, a pirate-themed playfield with toys and characters: a Cursed Pirate Skull Toy, the Dead Man's Chest, ship cannons that shoot pinball balls, the Ocean Loop with lively water, a translucent WaveRamp next to the Shark Scoop, a Tavern Scoop for The Extra Rum, a Hidden Cove for The Extra Loot, and the Lighthouse for extra balls. The table carries classic and modern pinball elements together, with sounds, voices, music, and a retro styled dot-matrix display.

Playing it with your group

Up to four players can share the table locally in Hot Seat multiplayer, taking turns on the same machine. Remote Play Together is supported, so friends can join in over a session rather than needing to be in the same room. Scores go to a local high score table and to online leaderboards, which gives the group something to compare after each run. Pinball Action Cams let you switch instantly between predefined cameras, with fixed and dynamic modes available, so whoever is watching can pick a view that suits them.

Settings worth knowing before you start

Two playfield styles are on offer. PURE style uses only classic pinball elements, simulating a real world table. ACTION style allows enhanced elements such as animated playfield characters. Pick one before you settle in, since it changes how the table plays.

The Operator menu covers game setup: balls per game, DMD color, location and size, and mission styles. The Lighting menu adjusts brightness across seven lighting groups plus bloom settings, and the Camera menu chooses which cameras the camera switch button cycles through. There is a tilt meter and TILT, so nudging the table has consequences. Physically based rendering, real-time lighting, and plenty of particles and effects mean there is a lot going on visually while the ball is in play.
