Build levels and play the community's
I Wanna be the Creator is an IWBTG fan game where you can play strange, varied levels and build your own. It comes with 31 built-in levels: 2 tutorials, 11 needle levels, 6 puzzle levels, 4 special-play levels, 3 troll levels, 2 mini-game collections, 1 boss fight, 1 exploration level, and 1 world level made of 36 small stages. On top of that, players have made over 100,000 levels. The built-in editor lets you place objects, change their properties, adjust game parameters, import outside images and music, and wire up triggers for game logic. Deep use of triggers can even make games that are not platformers.
Play together
Remote Play Together lets your group join in over a network from one copy of the game. There is also local multiplayer on one computer, though it is older and some levels may not work well with it. Online rooms support team play or races, but this is still experimental with plenty of bugs and is set to be reworked after version 3.0. The OL mode shows the ghosts of other online players in real time. Once you connect to the server you can upload your levels, download other players' levels, leave messages, and challenge record runs.
Before you start
This is not a traditional I Wanna fan game. The feel and details differ: the character is lighter, the hitbox is smaller, and you get a double jump in the air. People call it "ic" rather than "iw" for that reason. Expect spikes, troll levels, endurance stages, and odd gimmicks anyway. The level export feature can package your level as a standalone game that runs without this one, but it is still in testing and may be buggy. The game is authorized by Kayin, the author of I Wanna Be The Guy.
