A delivery robot in training

Levelhead is a 2D platformer from Butterscotch Shenanigans where you play as GR-18, a delivery robot belonging to the Levelhead Division of the Bureau of Shipping. The job is to get through a level without getting turned into scrap. The campaign contains more than 90 hand-designed levels, and along the way you unlock new Avatars and can race against benchmark times. The tone is funny and the art is colorful and cute, but the levels themselves are built to challenge you.

Playing together

Up to 4 players can play together locally or through Steam Remote Play Together. This works in the campaign and in the Level editor, so a group can either run through the levels side by side or sit down and build something together. The levels can be designed specifically for 2, 3, or 4 players, which gives a group something to make once the campaign is done.

Building and sharing levels

The Workshop holds an intuitive Level editor with hundreds of items: enemies, hazards, paths, programmable switches, secrets, weather, music, and powers. You can build a sprawling adventure, a puzzle, a pinball machine, a boss rush, a fast challenge, a relaxing music scene, or a sidescroller, then publish it for other players. Curation and Following systems help people find new levels, and the Marketing Department lets you push a level up the charts just by playing. Every level has a leaderboard for speed and score, and levels work across devices with cross play, cross save, and cloud backup for unfinished work.
