Physics platforming across floating dreamscapes

Human Fall Flat is a physics-based platformer set in a world of floating dreamscapes. Each dream level gives you a new environment to work through: mansions, castles, Aztec adventures, snowy mountains, eerie nightscapes and industrial locations. There are multiple routes through each level, and the puzzles reward exploration and ingenuity rather than speed. Your Human is floppy and falls over constantly, which is where much of the comedy comes from. The Jail level, added as the 34th level, is a collaboration with BARRY'S PRISON RUN: you navigate wayward walkways, precarious platforms and Barry's security systems, and get to the chopper in time for an explosive finish.

Playing with friends

Online multiplayer supports up to 8 players, and it changes how the game plays. Puzzles often need two sets of hands, so it's the kind of game where someone holds the boulder on the catapult while another pulls the lever, or one person breaks a wall while the rest wait. Shared/Split Screen Co-op is available for playing on one screen, and Remote Play Together lets others join over the internet from a single copy. PvP and Online PvP are listed among the Steam features, so competitive options exist alongside cooperative play.

Customising your Human

Your Human is yours to customise. Outfits range from builder to chef, skydiver, miner, astronaut and ninja, and you pick your head, upper body and lower body separately, then set the colours however you like. Color Alternatives are supported. Steam Achievements and Stats track what you've done, and Steam Cloud keeps your progress.

Workshop levels and creation tools

The Human Fall Flat Workshop, unique to Steam, works alongside Unity so players can build their own levels, lobbies and skins and share them publicly. If you'd rather just play, more than 5,000 unofficial community levels can be downloaded and explored directly. The official game continues to receive free new levels, with Jail the most recent addition.

Good to know before starting

Full controller support is available, and a Keyboard Only Option is offered. The game is playable without timed input, so there's no pressure from reflex challenges. Custom Volume Controls let you set sound levels, and both Stereo and Surround Sound are supported. Family Sharing is enabled, and Remote Play on TV is supported for playing on a big screen.
