Fighting a fluid enemy in 3D

Creeper World 4 is a real time strategy game where the enemy is not an army of units but a liquid called Creeper that floods across the terrain. It flows, pools, and crashes in waves, so you are constantly reacting to where the liquid is heading rather than trading shots with a fixed line of attackers. You build up an economy around energy and mined wares, then spend those resources on land, air, and orbital weapons to hold your ground. Terrain matters a lot here: taking the high ground keeps your forces above the flood and improves your line of sight and range, though aerial units can still reach you up there. If you survive long enough, orbital weapons and devastating strikes become available to break the worst waves.

Playing with friends online

The game includes experimental online co-op, so you and friends can work through maps together over the internet. Since the Creeper is a shared threat spreading across one map, coordinating who builds the economy, who holds which ridge, and who saves resources for orbital strikes is the core of co-op play. The co-op is marked experimental, so expect rough edges rather than a fully polished competitive ladder.

Choosing how to play

You can play small maps casually, pausing the game to issue orders at your own pace, or take on massive maps in real time with full save support. Content comes from the story and campaign missions, community crafted missions, and a built in mission generator for effectively endless maps. There is a map editor for making and sharing your own maps, plus custom unit support with scripting and custom game modes, along with an online map database to pull from.
