What this game is

BRAZILIAN DRUG DEALER BEFORE 4: DEMONS FROM THE PORTAL TO HELL I OPENED ARE STILL IN THE FAVELA AND NOW I HAVE TO SAVE MAMADAS FROM RONALDO is a standalone sequel to BRAZILIAN DRUG DEALER 3, built on the ID TECH 2 engine with a 90s-style look. It plays like an old-school Quake-inspired FPS: fast movement, shooting, jumping, double jumping and dashing. The campaign runs through 18 stages set in the state of Rio de Janeiro, parts of São Paulo, Salvador, Hell and Heaven. After saving MIT AIA, MACKIE JACKIE and the MAMADAS, the party in Heaven goes wrong when the MAMADAS are kidnapped by RONALDO MCDALEST, and demons from the earlier invasion are still loose. Your job is to clear them out, rescue the MAMADAS and get back their GLOBECETA portal opener car.

Playing it with friends

Every campaign map supports cooperative play, so the whole group can run the 18 stages together. Multiplayer runs through Steamworks with friend invites and no port forwarding, though the store text notes it is a beta test and currently unstable. For competitive sessions there are 6 deathmatch-focused maps, plus a horde mode called MORE COMING with 7 horde maps, where waves of zombies keep coming at you.

Movement, weapons and enemies

Staying mobile is the core of combat: dash and double jump to avoid the attacks of the dead, demons and other possessed Brazilians. The weapon roster mixes returning oddities like the berimbau, the payphone that shoots coconuts, the money paper airplane gun, with new ones such as the feijoa bowl slingshot and the chimarrão drink flamethrower. Enemies range from armed demons and zombies to Brazilian truck clowns, possessed singers, two dudes on a motorcycle, angry TV mice and possessed soccer team mascots.

Before you start

Each level hides secret areas, some only reachable by rocket jumping or double jumping, so replays with those tricks in mind pay off. Health pickups, pastel and cane broth, are scattered across the maps. The game keeps receiving monthly content updates, and the tone is dark humor, satire and memes throughout.
