A two-person puzzle expedition
We Were Here Together is a first-person cooperative adventure from Total Mayhem Games. An emergency flare and a broken distress call send you and one partner out of your Antarctic research base camp, across the frozen valleys, and into the medieval Castle Rock. Inside, you are separated, so each of you explores a different part of the castle while working through its puzzles, secrets, and dangers. The game is a linear, story-driven escape room with a dark history to uncover, including the being known only as the Jester.
How you play together
This is co-op only, and it is built entirely around talking. You and your partner each start with nothing but your wits and a walkie-talkie, and you must communicate to progress. Expect to describe your surroundings in detail, explain what you see, and coordinate your actions across the distance between you. Observation and clear communication are the tools that get you through the puzzles and out of the castle.
Before you start
You need two people, and both players must have a working PC-compatible microphone and an internet connection. There is no way to play this alone. Returning players can expect more puzzles, longer play time, and new mechanics compared to earlier entries in the series, along with more of the story behind the Antarctic expedition and Castle Rock.
