A two-player escape through a haunted manor

We Escaped a Twisted Game is a first-person horror escape built for exactly two players. You and one partner are trapped inside a haunted manor, and the only way out is to work through it together. The experience is linear and puzzle-driven: 15 challenges stand between you and the gates, and the choices you make along the way lead to multiple endings. Expect a dark, atmospheric setting with jump scares and a psychological horror tone rather than combat.

Split apart, but connected by voice

The core idea is that you will never see the full picture alone. The two of you are separated by walls, each holding only half the clues. One player's information is useless without the other's, so the puzzles are communication-driven by design: you describe what you see, guide each other through rooms you cannot reach, and piece the solution together over voice.

Built-in 3D voice chat keeps that connection going inside the game, complete with character voice lines. The 3D aspect means you hear your partner through the space of the manor, which also means sound carries — and the game warns you to be careful what else might be listening.

Before you start

This escape can only be played in co-op. It is online co-op for 2 players only, and each player needs their own device and their own copy of the game. There is no solo mode.

You can set up a private lobby for friends or drop into a public lobby with a stranger, and either way you will be inside the manor quickly. Getting out is the hard part. Bring someone you can talk to clearly, be ready to share details constantly, and remember that trust between the two of you is part of the puzzle.
