What Ore Factory Squad is

Ore Factory Squad is a mining and factory-building game where you start with a small warehouse and turn it into an industrial operation. You buy properties, dig underground for resources, process what you extract, and sell the output for profit. The underground is procedurally generated on every property, with fully diggable terrain and no fixed mining paths, so you choose where to cut your tunnels and how deep to go. Deeper layers hold more valuable resources, which makes each dig a real decision about time versus payoff.

Mining starts with a shovel and moves through pickaxes for tougher layers, jackhammers for speed, and dynamite for clearing large sections at once. Above ground, your warehouse fills out with machines, recipes, conveyor belts, pallets, forklifts, and trucks. Progression comes from licenses and machine unlocks, which open new production chains and let you grow from basic processing into a larger automated system.

Playing it with your group

The game runs fully solo or in online co-op with up to 4 players. One person can run the whole operation alone, or the group can split the work: some digging, some running machines, some handling logistics and deliveries. Working together lets you optimize production and grow faster than any one player managing everything.

Contracts are the shared goal that keeps a group coordinated. Companies request specific products in specific quantities, and fulfilling them means negotiating deals, preparing deliveries, loading trucks, and managing stock so nothing stalls. Warehouse robots and conveyor connections help keep the flow moving while players focus on the parts they enjoy.

Before you start

Expect a long arc rather than a quick session. You begin with simple tools and basic machines, and everything bigger — jackhammers, explosives, forklifts, trucks, new recipes, licenses, and workers to hire — comes through progression. Properties vary a lot: small backyards, construction sites, forest areas, and large quarries on snowy mountains, each with randomized ore distribution and profit potential, so two locations rarely play the same.

There is also room to make the operation yours. Characters can be customized with outfits, faces, gloves, and helmets, and factories take walls, floors, signs, and decorations. Plan for logistics as much as mining: stock management, shipments, and delivery prep are what turn extracted ore into actual growth.
