Digging for profit in a voxel world
Hydroneer is a mining and base building sandbox where you dig for gold and other resources to turn a profit and enhance your mining operation. Using a voxel based terrain system, you can carve out cave networks, quarry pits, or mud mountains. The deeper you dig, the better the rewards, and relics of the past are hidden down in the depths. You start with primitive tools and work your way up through a tycoon-style progression system, using hydro-powered machines and player-built structures to evolve your operation.
Building your base and machinery
The game features a dynamic modular system for building structures and hydro powered machinery. You can design your own base of operations to optimise your work, create networks of hydro pipes, and control pressure. Beyond mining, you can craft resources, weaponry, and jewellery, grow vegetables, and cook soup for villagers. Large hydro powered vehicles serve a variety of uses, from digging resources and finding ore veins to transporting goods. Various parcels of land await you in the world of Hydroneer, each with their own advantages such as deeper pits, attractive scenery, and closer stores, so you decide where to build your base of operations.
