Cooking with one arm
One-armed cook is a chaotic co-op cooking game for up to 4 people. You take orders from customers, then prepare and cook the food to match. The catch is that each cook only has one arm, so every grab, carry and plate is a small balancing act. The recipes are simple and intuitive, and a recipe book is there whenever you need to double-check what goes into a dish. With many different dishes on the menu, there is always something new to work on.
Playing together
You can cook on your own or grab friends and split the work. The game leans on teamwork: one person handles prep while another works the stove, and everyone keeps an eye on what the customers are waiting for. With up to 4 players in a kitchen, the room fills up fast and coordination matters more than speed. Online co-op is supported, so your group can play together even when you are not in the same place.
The physics make it messy
The goofy physics-based handling is the twist that sets this apart from a standard cooking game. Ingredients and tools react to the world, so a careless toss or a rushed grab can send things flying across the kitchen. That is where the chaos comes from, and it is also where the fun is: things go wrong, you laugh about it, and you clean up as a team. The stress of a full restaurant is real, but you set your own pace, so a session can be a relaxed evening or a frantic rush depending on how your group wants to play.
Before you start
Expect a casual, stylized 3D game where the challenge comes from juggling orders rather than from complex controls. It works as a solo experience and as a co-op one, and the physics mean that no two shifts play out the same way. Go in ready to communicate, keep the recipe book handy, and treat the mess as part of the game rather than a failure.
