A kitchen built for two

Let's Cook Together is a couch co-op game for exactly 2 players. You and one partner play as aspiring chefs working in a commercial kitchen that is split down the middle by a long serving counter. The awkward part: the ingredients and appliances you each need sit on opposite sides of the room. So the whole game comes down to cooperating across that counter — chopping, stirring and frying on your side while tossing ingredients over to your partner so they can finish the dish. Orders keep coming in, and you serve them together.

The tone is light and cartoony, with plenty of dialogue and a colorful look. It is aimed at families and mixed-age groups, so kids, teenagers, adults and elders can all pick it up. The game leans on planning and talking to each other rather than fast reflexes, which keeps it relaxed even when the orders pile up.

How a group plays it

Two people play on one screen, with split screen so each chef has their own view of their half of the kitchen. One person grabs and preps what's on their side, the other handles theirs, and the fun comes from calling out what is needed and hurling ingredients across the counter at the right moment. Since it needs two players at the same device, it works best when you are sitting next to someone — a spouse, kid, parent or friend. Remote Play Together is supported, so a friend can join over the internet as if they were on the same couch.

What to expect before starting

Progress runs through a co-op campaign of levels. Each level introduces new ingredients, appliances and recipes, and the difficulty climbs gradually rather than all at once. You earn stars as you serve orders, and those stars unlock new restaurants, upgrades for your cooking gear to meet tougher cooking standards, and new character skins for your chefs. Expect a mix of teamwork and mild chaos — flying food, thrown ingredients and a steady stream of orders — but nothing that demands quick hands. It is a family-friendly, casual experience meant to be shared with one person you enjoy spending time with.
