A rhythm game built around two lanes
MuseSwipr is a rhythm game where you swipe between two lanes to the beat. Left beats come down the left side, right beats come down the right side. When a left beat arrives, swipe anywhere on the left half of the screen; when a right beat arrives, swipe anywhere on the right half. That is the whole control scheme, so runs come down to how clean and steady your cursor movement is rather than memorizing button combinations. Good flow feels good and carries over into better scores, which is where the difficulty tag comes in: fast and dense patterns ask a lot of your hand speed and timing.
Playing with friends
MuseSwipr has Online PvP, so you and people you know can match up against each other rather than only chasing your own best runs. Since the core loop is a shared chart, everyone is reacting to the same stream of left and right beats, which makes direct comparison straightforward. Approach the same patterns your own way and see who holds their flow the longest.
Making your own content
The in-game editor lets you build your own beatmaps and skins, and creations can be shared or downloaded from other players through Steam Workshop with one click. That keeps the song and pattern pool growing without you leaving the game. Expect to spend time in the editor alongside time playing if you want your own charts in the rotation.
Before you start
MuseSwipr is in Early Access, so content and tooling can still change as development continues. It also carries Difficult and Tutorial tags, so expect a learning curve on tighter patterns while the tutorial covers the basics of the two-lane swipe. The game is tagged Moddable as well, which fits the editor and Workshop setup. Note that the store listing tags it Singleplayer alongside Online PvP, so check the current in-game options for how matchmaking is set up before you plan a session.
