What Let It Flow is
Let It Flow is a third-person shooter built live on stream by DevAddict, who adds whatever the community sends in. Levels, models, sound effects and special effects come from viewers, and they get stitched together into one game. The result is a loose, cartoony sandbox with driving and flight mixed into the shooting, spread across more than a dozen maps such as Eskimo Bros, Sewers, Port, Sand Trap, Soccer Colon and Battle Royale. The game is free to play.
How your group plays together
The game supports online co-op and online PvP, so your group can either team up or fight each other. Classic Deathmatch is free-for-all with the first player to 20 kills taking the win. Trophy Hunt works the same way, except everyone races to grab the trophy first. Battle Royale leaves one player standing before the round restarts.
Team modes give you something to coordinate on. Team Capture The Underpants splits players into sides that carry the underpants back to their washing machine, first team to 3 captures wins. Team Soccer has both sides pushing a giant ball into the opposing net, first to 3 goals takes it. Capture the Top Hat is a hold-the-object mode where wearing the hat earns points over time, first to 60 points wins.
Before you start
Expect a rough, community-made feel rather than a polished shooter — the whole point is that chat decides what gets built and the developer builds it. The tone is crude and cartoonish, with maps named after bathrooms and toilets, so it suits groups who do not take a match seriously. Rounds are short and score-based, so dropping in and out between maps is easy. If you want to shape what the game becomes, the streams on DevAddict's channel are where levels, models and effects get submitted and added.
