What Totally Accurate Battlegrounds is

Totally Accurate Battlegrounds is a physics-based battle royale from Landfall where everyone wobbles. You drop into the match skydiving face-first into a building, scavenge gear, and fight until one weirdo is left standing. The whole thing runs on goofy ragdoll physics, so movement is clumsy on purpose and staying upright is half the fight. The match ends in a guns-blazing round of the floor is lava, where the shrinking safe zone forces everyone together.

The arsenal has more than 90 weapons, ranging from proper firearms to things like a shallow pot with a long handle. You also get blessings and curses for doing well or badly, a limbo state that can pull you back from being finished off, and three-word catchphrases you can shout at other players. The map is intentionally fun-sized, so encounters come fast.

Playing with friends

You can drop in solo, in a duo, or as a squad, so a group of friends can queue together and wobble through the same match. Duos and squads are the straightforward way to run it as a crew: land together, split the loot, and revive or cover each other while the chaos unfolds. Solo mode is there when you want to see who actually survives.

Everything is online PvP against up to 60 players, so expect company from strangers as well as your friends. Coordination matters less than usual here — physics will undo careful plans as often as it enables them — but calling out where you landed and what weapons you found still helps a group stay together.

Before you start

Expect a game built around slapstick failure. Your character is deliberately unstable, so falling off things, getting launched, and dying in dumb ways is the normal experience rather than a sign you are playing badly. Parkour is physics-based too, which means movement is wobblier the faster you push it.

It is free to play with in-app purchases, and Steam Family Sharing is supported. The core loop is straightforward: land, loot, fight, and outlast the shrinking zone until the lava round decides it. Bring friends for the squad modes, or go solo and see how long you last.
