What Crab Game is

Crab Game is a first-person multiplayer game built around minigames based on children's games. You run, jump and fight through a series of rounds until one player is left standing and takes the cash prize. Rounds are short and the rules change from one minigame to the next, so the same lobby can feel like a race one moment and a fight the next. The game runs up to 35 players, with 28 maps and 9 game modes to work through, plus a server list you can browse to find a match.

Playing it with your group

Grab your friends and join the same lobby from the server list, then you are all in the same match competing against each other. With 35 players in play, a full group of friends is a small crowd inside a much larger one, so you will be racing and scrapping alongside strangers as well. Because rounds are quick and the game modes rotate, one sitting can cover a lot of different maps without anyone having to learn a deep system first. Expect to be knocked out early some rounds and in contention others — getting eliminated does not end the session, since the next minigame starts soon after.

Before you start

The game is tagged with nudity and psychological horror, so it is not a gentle pick for every audience. It is a first-person 3D platformer with parkour, racing and combat elements, so movement and timing matter as much as fighting. It is free to play, so the whole group can install it and be in a lobby quickly without anyone needing to coordinate a purchase. The store text leans hard into jokes and fake customer quotes, which matches the tone of the game itself: light, chaotic and not taking itself seriously.
