What Galactic Lander is

Galactic Lander is a 2D casual game inspired by the classic arcade Lunar Lander. You fly a delicate scientific spaceship and have to deliver it from point A to point B. The ship is fragile, so the whole challenge is in the piloting: throttle, tilt, and set it down without wrecking it. The game ships with several levels for both singleplayer and co-op, and each level has its own puzzle and quirk to work out.

Playing together

Levels can be played alone or with a friend in co-op mode, where you tackle the same level as a team. The game supports online co-op, online PvP, and Remote Play Together, plus split screen, so there are several ways to get a group into the same session. Beyond the built-in levels, you can play community levels with your friends or with strangers.

Making your own levels

The in-game level editor lets you build your own levels and upload them to the Steam Workshop. From there you can share them with the community, read comments and feedback on other people's work, and play whatever is out there yourself, with friends, or with players you don't know. That means the supply of levels keeps growing rather than running out.

Before you start

There is a no-gravity mode if you want a harder run. Without gravity you no longer have to keep the ship off the floor, but you also have to avoid hitting the ceiling, so the balancing act gets less forgiving. Expect a game that is easy to grasp and hard to master: the controls are simple, the ship is not, and the levels are built around small mistakes adding up.
