Carl's truck has a bomb attached to it
You play as Carl, a monkey mailman who kept missing deliveries. His boss rigged the truck with explosives and started the timer, so every run is a race to finish the route before the bomb goes off. The truck is fast, unstable, and constantly on the edge of spinning out, which is where most of the difficulty comes from. Flips, obstacles, and rough landings are part of the job rather than something to avoid entirely. The game is built around time attack: you deliver the mail across 21 unique maps, and the clock decides whether you make it.
Racing other players against the clock
The Steam features list Online PvP, and the store text states you can play with up to 8 players in a time-attack race, either by inviting friends or matching with other players. That makes it a straightforward option for a group: everyone loads into the same race and fights the clock and each other at the same time. There is also a singleplayer tag, so you can run the maps on your own when nobody else is around. Either way the goal stays the same — get the mail delivered before the timer runs out, or go up with the truck.
What to expect before you start
The tags include Difficult and Time Attack, so expect a learning curve rather than a casual cruise. Physics and driving are central, and the truck being unstable means failed runs will happen often while you learn how to keep it pointed in the right direction. The tone is cartoony and colorful with a comedic, fast-paced arcade feel, so the explosions and crashes read as jokes rather than punishment. It's listed as Free To Play and spans action, racing, simulation, and casual genres, so the mix leans toward short, chaotic rounds you can replay once or twice to shave time off your run.
