Endless driving with a loose grip on reality

Buck Up And Drive! is an arcade driving game built around one endless procedurally generated track. The road keeps going, the environments keep changing, and realism is not part of the plan. You drive, you survive, you keep the run going for as long as your reflexes hold. The track shifts between stretches that look roughly normal and stretches that abandon all pretense of sense — the store text even sends you to hell, literally. Score attack is the core loop: the longer you last, the better your run.

Controls are deliberately minimal. Everything runs on eight directions and a single button, which means you can play with one hand if you want. That simplicity is the point — the difficulty comes from the road, the traffic and the chaos, not from a pile of inputs to memorize.

Fighting mode with cars

Alongside the endless driving there is a fighting mode where two opponents face off 1v1. Each side picks a car, and the fight plays out like a 3D fighter with vehicles instead of fists. You can go against a second player or against the CPU. The developer's own account is that the idea arrived in the shower, which sets the tone for how seriously the mode takes itself.

Both game modes use the same 8-direction-plus-one-button control scheme, so switching between driving and fighting does not mean relearning anything.

Playing together and customizing your car

Two players can share the screen through Remote Play Together, so one person owns the game and the other joins in from their own machine. That covers both the 1v1 fighting mode and taking turns or competing on the endless run. The tags list it as a 2.5D, anime-flavored, colorful and stylized experience with beat 'em up and vehicular combat elements, plus a healthy streak of comedy and surrealism — pink backflipping trucks on the moon are mentioned without irony.

Car decals can be customized through external image files, so you can drop in whatever artwork you like and drive it around. Before starting, note the platform support: the game runs on Windows and Ubuntu, and other Linux distros may work but are not guaranteed.
