Turn-Based Artillery Duels
Boom Slingers is a physics-based artillery game where you take turns flinging weapons at opponents in 1v1 battles. Battles are quick, usually lasting only a few minutes, and the matches are set in colorful, cartoonish arenas. You control small cross-dimensional creatures called Slingers as they duel across the cosmos. The game uses a bullet-time mechanic that lets you slow down the action to line up tricky shots and chain weapon combos together.
Playing Together
While the core mode is 1v1 online PvP against players worldwide, you can also challenge your friends directly to friendly battles. This is a good way to practice moves, test out new strategies, and see who comes out on top without the pressure of ranked play. Since the game supports cross-play, you can battle against friends who are playing on mobile devices as well.
Building and Customizing
The Boom Slingers Laboratory gives you tools to get creative. You can build your own custom arenas using the Arena Builder and then play on them with friends. There is also a spaceship art designer that lets you customize the ship you fly into and out of battles with. Beyond arenas, you can collect over 70 characters and more than 50 unique weapons, mixing hats, accessories, and gear to create your own look.
Before You Start
The game runs on live servers, so a network connection is required to play. It is currently in Early Access, which means the developers are still actively updating the game with new features, content, art, and bug fixes. Be aware that leaderboard rank and trophies reset at the beginning of each month when a new season starts. If you have a Boom Slingers mobile account, you can link it to the Steam version to keep your progress across devices.
