A fishing trip that never goes quiet
Ultimate Fishing Simulator is a first-person fishing game built around one simple idea: the bite comes quickly. You pick your gear and bait, cast, and hook fish instead of sitting through long dead stretches. The game covers float fishing, bottom fishing, spinning, fly fishing, sea fishing, surfcasting, and ice fishing, each with its own tackle such as rod pods, bite indicators, ground baits, nymphs, streamers, and feeders. You fish across 7 realistic fisheries around the world, plus 2 more in winter and the open ocean, under a 24-hour day cycle and dynamic weather that shifts temperature, mist, wind, rain, and snow. If the day produces nothing, the night might.
Fishing with your group
The multiplayer mode lets you meet players from around the world, talk tactics, and compete in tournaments. Tournaments come in private, public, and global forms, so you can invite friends into a private event or take on a global field. There are official rankings to climb. The built-in level editor lets you design your own fishery and share it with other players, so your group can build a map and then fish it together. Online co-op and online PvP are both supported; an internet connection is needed for multiplayer.
What to know before you cast
Two difficulty settings change the feel. Normal Mode includes every feature in the game. Realistic Mode cuts the bite rate and makes fish fight longer, and it disables some features such as the underwater camera. The underwater camera otherwise lets you watch fish around your bait and adjust your approach to the water. What you do with a catch is up to you: sell it, release it, or stuff it for the trophy room. Ice fishing needs an auger from the store and a hole drilled wide enough to pull the fish out. The game can be played without an internet connection outside of multiplayer. A free remaster is coming as an update for everyone.
