What Tokyo Warfare Turbo is
Tokyo Warfare Turbo is an arcade tank battler set in Japan, with bonus desert and winterland maps. You drive WWII and modern tanks, APCs and AA vehicles against each other, taking a side among six factions. As you rank up you unlock dozens of tanks, and tanks from different eras and factions can be mixed into the same team without restrictions. The game runs in Early Access and offers both ANIME and HD visual styles, switchable at any time, plus raytracing for reflections.
Playing with your group
Online you get Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch, so your group can either go free-for-all or split into sides. Offline modes add Survival alongside Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch. Battles are configurable: number of kills, time limit, location and team setup are all up to you, so you can shape a quick round or a longer session to match what your group feels like playing.
Settings worth knowing before you start
A lot of the game is tweakable. You can enable pickups and decide how arcade and fast-paced the handling feels, adjust visuals, and change the crew voices. Music comes in several styles, including J-pop, rock and electronic, and the input can be remapped to your setup. Battles can run with up to 128 AI units, which matters when you decide how crowded you want the field. Pick your visual style, your map and your mode, and you are ready to roll out.
