Command a battalion, not a single tank
Tank Arena:Total Operation is a free MMO war game built around large-scale vehicle combat. You take the role of a commander with access to more than 400 tanks, armored vehicles and helicopters, including famous World War II machines like the German Tiger II, the Soviet T-34 and the American M4 Sherman. Battles take place on a 2000x2000 battlefield, and matches run at 12v12 against players from around the world, with 5v5 matches also on offer. Each vehicle carries its own performance and fighting style, so picking the right machine for the job matters as much as how you drive it.
Build your war machine and your look
The upgrade system lets you push a tank's armor, defense, firepower and mobility in the direction your tactics need, turning it into a steel behemoth that fits how you play. On top of that, the customization options cover paintings, decals, accessories and a custom flag, so your vehicle reads as yours when the fighting starts. Between matches this is where you spend your time: tuning stats, then dressing the result up so it carries your style into the next fight.
Win through teamwork, not heroics
The game makes it clear that individual skill alone rarely decides a match. Victory goes to teams that execute a plan together — a frontal assault, a flank or a bypass attack only works when teammates read the situation the same way. During a battle you need to keep an eye on your teammates, adjust the strategy as the fight develops and move as a unit. Maps are based on real WWII battlefields, from the snowfields of the Eastern Front to the ruined streets of the Western Front, with realistic sound effects and environmental interactions, so terrain and positioning are worth paying attention to rather than charging in alone.
Ranked play and what to expect
The Ranking Contest matches you globally against other commanders based on your performance. Doing well raises your ranking and unlocks exclusive rewards, but it tests more than raw control — judging the state of the battlefield and cooperating with your team counts just as much. Expect a competitive environment where losses feed back into better tactics. Note that the game includes both online co-op and online PvP play, so some sessions are about working with allies and others are about facing opposing players head-on.
