What TANKNAROK is
TANKNAROK is a top-down twin stick shooter where 2 to 4 tanks fight each other in small arenas. Matches are short and fast: you drive, aim, shoot, and dodge while the arena itself tries to kill you with hazards. The arenas are split across 7 themes, and there are more than 90 of them, so you keep running into new layouts, trap placements, and cover arrangements. Power-ups litter the field, including super weapons that turn a losing round around in a couple of shots. Eight game modes change the objective from plain last-tank-standing fights to other rules, and you can tweak match settings to suit your group.
Playing it together
You can play on the couch or online, and the same game supports both. Local players share one screen; online play lets you face friends or strangers. Bots fill empty slots, so a match works with two people, with a full group of four, or solo against AI. Remote Play Together is available if someone wants to join your session without installing the game. Whatever the setup, the loop stays the same: grab power-ups, use the hazards to your advantage, and outlast the other tanks.
Before you start
Expect chaos rather than slow tactical play. Explosions, screen effects, and fast movement are the core of the experience, and the arenas are built to punish anyone who stands still. Pick a game mode first, then adjust the match settings to your liking — that is where you decide how rounds play out. If your group wants variety, rotate through the 7 arena themes and the 8 modes instead of repeating one map. The controls are twin stick style: one stick drives, the other aims and fires, which takes a round or two to get smooth but reads clearly once it clicks.
