Rebuilding the plaza one paver at a time

Paver: Tidy Up Together is a first-person organizing game about putting a scattered plaza back into order. The old castle's renovation is nearly finished, but the grand plaza is left in chaos: all the pavers have been mixed up and strewn across the ground. You have the original layout plan, and your job is to place 4,064 pavers into their correct spots. The pavers come in different colors and a wide range of shapes, including rectangle, square, octagon, trapezoid, H-shaped, triangle, hexagon, trihex, and radial. Matching the right shape and color to the right place is the core of the work, and the reward is watching a messy area slowly turn into a clean, patterned plaza.

Playing with your group

You can work alone or join friends in online co-op. Everyone follows the same layout plan, so you can split the plaza between you, hand pavers to each other, or simply work side by side at your own pace. There is no pressure to rush; the game is built around steady, satisfying progress rather than competition. Since the plan is fixed, the group's effort adds up into one shared result, and the plaza takes shape as a collective piece of work rather than something each person builds separately.

Modes and skills

Three game modes change how much help you get. Normal Mode lets you progress and unlock new skills as you play. Sandbox Mode drops you straight in with every skill already unlocked. No-Skill Mode disables all skills, so you complete the entire layout manually. The skills themselves speed up the routine parts: Highlighting Paver Layout marks where the topmost paver in your hand belongs, Auto-Placement puts your pavers in their correct places automatically, and Auto-Collect gathers pavers matching the topmost one in your hand. Turning these off makes the job slower and more deliberate, which is the point of No-Skill Mode.

Before you start

Expect a long, repetitive task by design: 4,064 pieces placed by hand or with skill assistance. The game is family friendly and casual, with a stylized, cute look and character customization, so it suits relaxed sessions where the group chats while working. Decide up front which mode fits your group — Normal for steady progression, Sandbox for immediate access to everything, No-Skill for a pure manual challenge — and settle who handles which section of the plaza so the plan comes together cleanly.
