What the game is
Brick by Brick: Tidy Up the Small Town! is a first-person tidy-up and building game from PaperPixel Games. A small town has come apart into scattered piles, and your job is to put it back together: collect 18,490 bricks, sort them by shape and color, and place each one where a building's plan calls for it. Piles shrink as walls go up, and every finished building adds something new to walk around and look at. The pace is calm and steady rather than timed or frantic, so you can work at whatever speed suits you.
Playing it together
You can do the whole thing solo, or join an online co-op session with up to 5 players. Splitting the work is the main benefit: some people hunt down the right bricks while others follow the plans and place them, and the piles clear noticeably faster than one person working alone. Since the sorting is by shape and color, it helps to agree on who handles which colors or which building so nobody duplicates effort. Co-op is listed as an online feature, so plan on playing with friends over the internet rather than sharing a screen.
Abilities that change the routine
As you progress you unlock abilities that cut down on the boring parts of the job. A magnet pulls bricks in for collection, a wheelbarrow lets you carry more at once, and scaffolding gets you up to the higher sections of a building without fuss. Getting these early makes a real difference: less time hauling, more time placing. Expect the first stretch of play to be slower carrying work before the upgrades start paying off.
Before you start
This is an incremental, inventory-management game at heart, so the loop is repetitive by design: find, sort, place, repeat. It rewards people who enjoy organizing and watching a long task come together one piece at a time. There's no combat or pressure system mentioned — the appeal is the gradual transformation of the town and the walk through what you've finished. Pick a building, gather the pieces it needs, and work through it; the town fills in from there.
