What Megastore: Tidy Up Together is

Megastore: Tidy Up Together is a cozy organization game where you turn messy stores into clean, carefully arranged shopping spaces. Products are scattered all over the floor, and every item has a specific department, category, and shelf where it belongs. You pick items up, read the department signs, group matching products together, and shelve them in the right spot before the store opens. There are more than 1,350 unique products and 65 different shelf types to work with, so the sorting stays varied across the whole game.

Four fully playable stores are available, each larger than the last with its own product selection and atmosphere. You start in a smaller single-story Toy Store with 3,555 items across 297 shelves, filled with colorful toys and summer essentials. Next comes an Electronics Store with 6,203 items on 477 shelves, covering gaming PCs, consoles, games, monitors, mice, keyboards, phones, laptops, TVs, and home appliances like washing machines and refrigerators. The Supermarket holds 7,934 products across 487 shelves, including fresh-food counters and everyday essentials. The final challenge is a massive two-story Megastore with 13,380 items spread across nine departments and 978 shelves.

Playing it with your group

The game works solo or in online co-op, and co-op is where the store-splitting strategy comes in. Divide the building between your team, give each player a set of departments or a section of shelves, and work through the mess in parallel. One common approach is to have everyone focus on a different category so nobody is competing for the same aisle, then converge on the harder-to-place items once the bulk is sorted. You can also go shelf by shelf together if you prefer a slower, shared pace.

Because the stores grow so much in size, communication about who has taken which area pays off. The Megastore in particular, with nine departments over two floors, benefits from a clear plan of who covers what.

Before you start

Organization here is more involved than grabbing things off the floor. You need to recognize product categories, follow the signage, and work out which of the 65 shelf types is the correct home for each item. Empty shelves filling up gradually is the main progress signal, and every correctly placed item moves you toward opening.

A skill tree lets you unlock abilities that speed up the cleanup, including improvements to movement and carrying capacity. Which upgrades you prioritize shapes how your team tackles the larger stores, so pick skills that match whether you value speed, bigger loads, or something else.

One more store is in active development and planned as a free update, taking the game from four stores to five. Custom level creation and sharing is also in development as a major update, with the ability to design your own organization challenges, share them, and play them together in co-op.
