What MageQuit is
MageQuit is a top-down wizard brawler from Bowlcut Studios where up to 10 mages fight with drafted spells. Each kill makes your beard grow longer, and after 9 rounds the mage with the longest beard takes the win. The spell list holds 70 different options, and you can curve your shots to bend attacks around cover. Matches can run as teams, free for all, or 1v1, and custom bots fill in for missing players online or offline.
Playing with your group
You can play on one PC with up to 10 people locally, or take the fight online with a premade party of up to 10. The quickplay queue accepts a party of up to 5, and multiple players can share one PC while playing online. Crossplay is supported, so your group can mix setups. Matchmaking is anonymous and skill-based, or you can set up a custom lobby instead. Full controller support and mouse and keyboard input are both available.
Before you start
Spell drafting means you build your loadout before the fight, so spend time reading what each of the 70 spells does and how the curving mechanic changes your aim. Beards track kills across all 9 rounds, so early picks matter but a late run of kills can still swing the beard length. The game ships with a dynamic original soundtrack, and official tournaments run semi-monthly with in-game rewards for winners; you can sign up in-game or through the Discord command +signup.
