A necromancer pushing through 99 walls

Journey to Incrementalia is an active incremental auto-battler where you play a necromancer on a short quest. Your goal is to break down 99 walls and reach the lost city of Incrementalia. Combat runs itself while you raise an army of infernal minions, cast diabolical spells, and open the gates of hell. The game keeps a steady pace of growth as you gather mana and keep pushing your power higher.

Building your army and your skill tree

The core loop is gathering mana, spending it on upgrades, and finding synergies between your spells, minions, and items. There are over 100 skills, spells, items and abilities to discover and combine, laid out in a massive tree of skills. You can reset your skills at any time, so trying a new build costs nothing but a fresh start. Along the way you will unlock new minions, spells and abilities, and summon thousands of minions to unleash hell on the walls in front of you. Whimsical side-quests break up the climb, and Bonesley, your faithful skeleton minion, is along for the ride. The story is not-so-serious and does have an ending.

What to know before you start

This is a singleplayer game tagged as an idler and incremental, so expect long stretches of steady growth rather than constant input. The tone is dark fantasy with a retro, minimalist look and a synth soundtrack inspired by DOS classics. After your first playthrough, New Game+ modes, legendary items and prestige abilities open up for further runs.
