Building Your Team
Fairytale Fables is an autobattler where fairytales and legends collide. You pick a Hero at the start of each game, and each Hero plays differently. During the Shop Phase you spend gold to buy characters, items and treasures, and to cast spells. Leveling up opens up more powerful characters and spells in your shops. Positioning matters, so where you place your team decides the fight before it starts.
Fighting Together
Once your setup is done, the fights play out automatically. You watch your choices come to life and see whether your team outwits the opponent. The core mechanic is Match 3: find three copies of a character to forge a stronger version and gain a treasure of their level. The right treasure can tip the scales in your favor. Online PvP puts you in an enchanted arena against other players, and the goal is to be the last one standing.
Mixing It Up
The Chaos Queue changes the rules from match to match, with random rule-changes like dual heroes or expanded boards. Custom Games let you set your own rules and battle it out with up to 100 players. The game is in Early Access, so expect things to change as it develops.
