What Boneraiser Minions Is

You play a Boneraiser, one of the outcasts who could raise the dead and were hunted for it. Now King Gigald is marching a crusade against you, and the only way through is to build an army of skeletons and demons from the bones and souls of the heroes you cut down. The whole thing is a gothic auto-battler in the Survivor-like mold: you dash around the field avoiding enemies while your minions do the fighting for you. Each minion type fights its own way, from melee pulverisers and magical missilers to supporting hexers and augurs, so what you raise shapes how the run plays out. Along the way you pick up Relics with strange boosts and Spell Scrolls you can fire off at the right moment.

Playing It With Friends

Boneraiser Minions supports Remote Play Together, so one person owns the game and friends can join in over the internet. Steam Leaderboards let you and your friends fight for position against each other and everyone else. The Daily and Weekly Challenge puts everyone on equal footing for a straight comparison of who lasts longest.

Modes and Meta Between Runs

Several modes keep runs from feeling the same. Mausoleum Awakens has you defending your crypt with traps and contraptions you place beforehand. Necrotic Skirmishes is a quick survival round against a growing horde. Castle Conquest sends you across maps picking your path toward the Queen's Palace, and Clashful Cards is a collectible card game for a breather from the fighting.

Between runs, coins feed three meta tracks. Boneraise Lore unlocks bigger raises like Enboned Giants and Possessed Demons, and it can be refunded so you can rebuild your setup. Heroic Force meta deliberately strengthens the enemy side, since provoking groups like Beggar's Revolt or Goblin Looters gives you more bones to work with. Class Heritage lets you steal hero souls for class perks, such as the Liche favoring quantity or the Demologist favoring huge demonic minions.
