What QUSHA is

QUSHA is a Chinese-style roguelike survivor game where you play a novice Daoist disciple in a world overrun by demons. The view is top-down and the screen fills with enemies, so the loop is simple: move, cast, and keep clearing waves. As you kill demons and upgrade, your spells get stronger and you combine different talismans and Daoist techniques to handle larger hordes. The game runs on UE5, which lets it put a large number of demons on screen at once. Expect gore and bullet-hell style projectile patterns during fights.

Playing together

QUSHA supports Online Co-op, so you and your friends can join up and fight through the demon waves as a group. Each player builds up their own spells and upgrades during the run, and you combine what you have to push further. The shared pressure of a top-down horde shooter means sticking together and covering each other's weak spots matters more than any single build.

Before you start

QUSHA is a teaching program from the UE5 Full Process Course for Indie Game Creators by VaMP He and MOTZIFY. It is a course project rather than a full commercial release, and the scope is smaller because of that. The developers welcome feedback from players who try it. Go in expecting a compact roguelike run focused on spell growth and demon slaying, not a long campaign.
