A rhythm game where wrong notes still sound good
Disaster Band puts you in front of a track with an instrument in hand and lets you play. The controls are direct and easy to pick up, and you can play freely with any instrument included on a given song. There is no penalty for playing wrong: the dynamic sound engine keeps the music going no matter what you hit, so you can practice, improvise and explore every song at your own pace. When you do tighten up, better precision leads to higher scores.
Jam with your friends online
Online multiplayer supports up to 4 players, and you can host or join a game with friends or strangers. The connection is low-latency, so more players means more fun rather than more waiting. Whether you perform together or each go your own way on the track, the session keeps going. Global and local leaderboards track solo runs and full band performances, so your group can see how high it climbs or how much infamy it earns as the Disaster Band.
Bring your own music and pick your instrument
There are 15 instruments to choose from, ranging from classical choices like violin and trombone to more unusual options including cats meowing or a choir, giving thousands of possible combinations. Mod.io support lets you create your own tracks via MIDI and share them with the community, or import songs made by other players for the practice room or the worldwide stage. Controller support is included alongside the intuitive control scheme.
