Grow a colony of Dinkys
Dinky Guardians is a colony-building game where you clone your first Dinky and start gathering food. Dinkys are not idle: give them orders to gather resources, craft objects, and carry out tasks that help your settlement expand. As your colony grows, you research new tech and build automated machines. Machines work much faster than Dinkys, but they run on Power instead of Food, so you need to plan your energy production alongside your food supply.
Defend against the Zumbys
The world is dangerous, and Zumbys spawn at night with a taste for Dinkys. Keep your colony safe by building Smart Mines or Towers loaded with all kinds of ammo. Managing your defenses is a core part of the loop: gather, build, research, and hold the line when darkness falls so your Dinkys survive to work another day.
Colonize the galaxy together
The ultimate goal is to repopulate the entire galaxy with Dinkys and fully automate everything so they can live in peace. Build a Rocket and launch into outer space to colonize other worlds, each with its own biomes and different resources. Use Resource Launchers to move resources between planets and set up supply chains across your growing interstellar network, then tune everything for maximum efficiency.
You can play solo or with up to 4 friends in online co-op. In a group, you can split the work across colonies and planets: some players handle base building and defense while others push research, automation, and off-world supply routes. Before starting, know that the game blends action, simulation, and strategy, so expect to balance combat readiness with resource management and automation planning.
