What Crumble is

Crumble is a physics platformer where you play as a cute blue ball with a grappling tongue. You move like a slime, jump like a ball, and swing like Spiderman, using the tongue to latch onto surfaces and haul yourself across levels that are falling apart around you. The world is unstable by design: platforms crumble, structures collapse, and destruction is part of the route rather than an obstacle you wait out. The physics are high dynamic, so momentum and timing matter more than precise footing. The environments are vibrant, and the whole thing has a light, playful tone rather than a serious one.

Playing it with a group

Party Mode supports up to 4 local players, so a group can share one screen and run the chaos together. The local multiplayer setup includes split screen, which means everyone gets their own view of the crumbling level at the same time. There is also a campaign mode for working through the levels on your own, with a world that crumbles more as you progress. Remote Play Together is available, so someone who does not have the game can join in over a connection rather than needing to be on the same couch. Online leaderboards are there if your group wants to compare runs after the session.

Before you start

Expect a movement-focused game where the fun comes from swinging, bouncing, and improvising when the ground gives way. It is tagged as casual and a party game, but the grappling tongue and physics mean there is a real feel to learn before you stop flailing. New skins can be unlocked as you play, which gives the group something to chase between rounds. The campaign is singleplayer, so if your group wants to play together, Party Mode is the way in. Check that everyone is comfortable with split screen or Remote Play Together before you settle in, since the local multiplayer is the core of the group experience.
