What Struggling is
Struggling is a physics-based co-op platformer set in a deranged world where anything goes. You control a squishy abomination and move it forward one arm at a time. Each arm is controlled independently, so walking alone takes real effort. The creature latches onto anything it can find, from suspicious levers to dangling eyeballs, and drags itself through challenges built around that clumsy, swinging movement. You will outrun ravenous rats, joyride a dirt bike, and vault over pools of unmentionable waste. If the physics get the better of you, the arms get ripped off, but they grow back.
Playing it with friends
Struggling is built for two people sharing one body. Each player controls one arm, so every crawl, swing, clamber, and slide has to be coordinated. Communication is the whole game: one person reaches while the other holds on, or both swing at the same moment to cross a gap. The co-op campaign runs through the full range of physics-based challenges, and inventive setups will test the firmest of friendships. Local multiplayer covers playing together on one setup, and Remote Play Together lets a friend join from their own machine.
Before you start
Expect a steep coordination curve rather than precise platforming. The arms react with weight and momentum, so a careless grab can fling the body somewhere you did not plan to go, and losing an arm mid-challenge puts you back a moment rather than ending the run. The world is cartoonish and colorful, with a darker streak to its humor, so the gore reads as slapstick rather than something played straight. Settle who takes which arm before you begin, agree on how you will talk each other through the tricky parts, and be ready to laugh at the failures as much as the victories.
