Crash Landing on an Alien World
Capsized is a fast paced 2D platformer where your ship has crash landed on a mysterious alien planet. As an intrepid space traveler, you must navigate the perilous environment and fight off blood-thirsty creatures to save your crewmates and escape with your lives. The world is rendered in a unique hand-drawn art style, creating an immersive alien landscape teeming with bizarre life-forms and strange landscapes. The game combines control elements of first person shooters with physics based combat, emphasizing action while keeping the smart problem solving of classic platform games.
Playing Together
The game includes 4 extra Arcade Modes to unlock, with local Deathmatch and Coop available for playing alongside others. These modes sit alongside a 12 mission Campaign that features massive non-linear environments, diverse objectives and enemies, and comic-style cutscenes. Remote Play Together is supported, letting you join in on the action.
Tools and Combat
You have a lethal arsenal of futuristic weapons and gadgets at your disposal, including the Gravity Ram, Jetpack, Energy Shield, and Quasar Array. Use your jetpack to fly through the alien jungle, and tools like the Gravity Hook to manipulate your environment to dodge and defeat attacking enemies. The controls are inspired by classic first person shooters, with a focus on skilled movement, creative tactics, and fast action. Expect to be challenged by platforming, puzzle solving, and deadly skirmishing, often all at the same time.
