Building a Town Full of Trouble
Constructor Plus puts you in charge of a growing town where you place buildings, manage quirky tenants, and collect money to expand your operations. You have over 147 buildings to work with, including space-themed structures and eight massive Skyscrapers that act as retail units. These skyscrapers unlock after you complete a Steel Yard and cost more than standard buildings, but they bring in passive income and grant special bonuses, such as lifting tenant limits at your Headquarters or speeding up your hospitals.
The game runs on an isometric view and gives you plenty of ways to handle the pace. If the action moves too quickly, you can slow down time or pause entirely to line up your orders before letting the game run again. You also have access to the Town Designer, which lets you pre-build cities before playing.
Playing Together Against Rivals
Constructor Plus supports Online PvP, so you and your friends can compete to see whose town comes out on top. The goal is to build up your own economy while disrupting everyone else. You have eight "undesirables" you can send to mess with rival activities or blow up their property, and you can send Thugs to smash your own tenants' porcelain if they get on your nerves. You can also swindle money from both your tenants and your rivals' tenants using three different Casinos, ranging from a basic Poker Casino up to Nero's Palace.
Since placement matters, you need to position Casinos where they will attract the most clients and keep them safe from rival interference. Rival teams also compete for prime real estate, and building on estates owned by another team normally costs extra unless you have the right retail unit in place.
Scenarios, Missions, and the Classic Mode
If you are new, the game includes a tutorial plus nine learning missions that cover the fundamentals and the more interesting characters. Beyond that, there are over 65 pre-built scenarios, including fifteen story missions, to test your management skills.
Constructor Plus also includes the original Classic Constructor experience with a traditional online multiplayer mode and an improved setup interface. The game spans 17 worlds, covering country towns, tropical jungles, and the Moon, Mars, and Uranus, so you have a wide range of settings to build in.
