Climbing out of Hell
Chained Together is a 3D platformer where the goal is simple: climb as high as you can to escape Hell. You scale punishing platforms across various worlds, each layer bringing its own challenge and getting tougher as you go. The heat rises behind you, so movement and timing matter. You can take it on alone or with up to three friends, for 1-4 players total.
Playing together on a chain
In co-op, you and your friends are physically linked by a chain. The chain is fully simulated and wraps around platforms, which means it can catch on geometry as you move. Learning to work with that is the core of the co-op experience: coordinate your clambering, time your jumps, and use the chain's behavior to your advantage rather than fighting it. Online Co-op and Remote Play Together are supported, so you can link up remotely or play together locally.
Modes and difficulty
Three difficulty options change how the climb plays out. Normal Mode is the punishing standard. Beginner Mode adds checkpoints so falls are less costly. Lava Mode adds constantly rising flames that chase you up the tower. There is also a 2v2 Race Mode where teams have 30 minutes to see how far they can climb, jump, swim, and drive up the tower.
Worth knowing before you start
Leaderboards and Achievements only count in Normal and Lava Modes, so Beginner Mode runs do not register there. The game supports controller input. The climb is meant to be hard, and the chain makes solo play and group play feel quite different, so pick the mode that fits how much friction you want.
