Running a cafe as a necromancer
Bone's Cafe is a fast paced cooking game where you play Bones the necromancer, growing a cafe from the ground up. Orders come in, ingredients get prepped, dishes go out. On top of the cooking, there's a darker side: you attract customers, harvest them with stealth for exotic ingredients, and use their souls to raise undead staff. It's a silly mix of cute pixel graphics and dark humor. Along the way you follow the story, earn money to buy tools in the shop, and raise your Skull Ranking to expand the cafe itself.
Cooking together with friends
Up to 4 players can share the kitchen at once, either sitting on the same couch or through Steam Remote Play. Each person grabs a job — chopping, cooking, serving — and the kitchen gets much busier as orders pile up. Playing solo works too, since the whole game is playable alone. Campaign mode gives you a story to progress through, and Challenge mode is there when you want a tighter test of your cafe.
Designing your kitchen and menu
The cafe layout is yours to arrange, so you can place tools and stations to build a workflow that matches how your group actually plays. The menu is customizable as well: with 97 recipes to discover by experimenting with ingredients, you can shape the cafe around a concept, a taste, or whatever you feel like serving. Buying tools and expanding the cafe size both feed into how efficient you can get.
Undead staff and automation
When the rush gets overwhelming, necromancy is the answer. Summon undead assistants and assign them simple tasks so they take work off your hands. Automation like this becomes more useful the more you expand, since a bigger cafe means more to keep track of. Expect a game that starts as a hands-on kitchen and gradually turns into a managed operation with your minions handling part of the flow.
