What Noobs Are Coming is
No flips the usual setup: you play the final boss of an MMORPG, and the noobs come at you. It's a top-down arena roguelike in the same family as Brotato and The Binding of Isaac, built around short runs that finish in under 30 minutes. You pick one of 45 playable characters, each with its own gameplay and effects, then equip boss patterns and stack weapons, items and minions until the build turns into something ridiculous. There are 70+ weapons and attacks with their own mechanics, 150+ items for synergies, and 138 unlockables to work toward. Runs come with 5 difficulties plus an Endless Mode, so a quick session and a long grind both fit.
Playing it with friends
The game supports Steam Remote Play Together, and there's a local co-op mode for up to 4 players. On a run you each build your own boss kit, so the fun comes from comparing what everyone cobbled together — one player growing plant monsters with a watercan or a Cloud spell while another spams a boss pattern across the arena. The character merge feature adds another thing to experiment with when you're playing as a group. Since runs stay short, a group can cycle through several attempts in an evening without anyone dropping out halfway.
Before you start
Expect bullet hell density: the screen fills with attacks, and the whole point is to make your own patterns even more overwhelming. Difficulty is selectable, so a group can start low and push up once the builds start coming together. There's a Twitch Streamer Mode that pulls usernames and messages from chat for the noobs to use, which matters if you plan to stream it. The game is verified for Steam Deck, and there's a soundtrack worth turning up. The tag list includes dark fantasy alongside cute and cartoony, so the tone mixes grim settings with a playful look.
