Escape the cursed mountain
Whisper Mountain Outbreak is an isometric co-op survival horror game set in 1998. A mining operation on Mt. Bisik disturbed a buried ruin and unleashed an ancient horror, bringing whispers, monsters, and a mysterious fog that traps everyone in the area. You explore abandoned buildings, scavenge scarce resources, craft items, find keys, unlock doors, and solve puzzles while fighting off waves of monsters with melee and ranged weapons. Herbs recover your health. The goal is to work out a way to escape the curse.
Play with your group
You can play alone or with up to 4 players. Teamwork matters: communicate through in-game proximity voice chat, save downed teammates, and share the resources you find. The Friend's Pass lets one owner create a room and share a room code so up to 3 friends can join using the Friend's Pass for free. At the start of each run, pick from six classes, each with unique perks and skills that shape your playstyle. Experience and resources let you learn new skills and craft items to handle harder missions.
What to know before starting
This is an Early Access PvE game with a claustrophobic, dark atmosphere built from 2D pixel characters in 3D low-poly environments, with lingering fog, tight rooms, limited visibility, and eerie whispers. Monsters come in waves, so expect constant pressure while you search for clues and a way out.
