A revenge story in the Wild West
Westerado: Double Barreled is a 2D pixel-art western from Ostrich Banditos. Your family is murdered by a mysterious desperado, and you set out to hunt them down. The open world is split into forest, desert and mountains, each with its own inhabitants and side stories. You decide how the revenge story unfolds: be an outlaw or a saint, and use your trusty shooting iron whenever words fail. Drawing your revolver during a conversation is always an option, and you can shoot whomever you like, whenever you like. Weapons include a revolver, a shotgun and a tomahawk, so you can pick the tool that fits the moment.
Playing together
The game supports local co-op and Steam Remote Play Together, so a friend can join you on the same screen or over a connection. Both players share the same open world and the same consequences: shooting a character affects everyone's run. Multiple save slots let you keep progress across sessions, which is handy when a group wants to explore a different path through the branching narrative on a later night.
Before you start
Expect a game where choices matter and the story can go differently each time. Full controller support is included, and the display can run at 720p or 1080p. The soundtrack features live recorded banjos, trumpets, saloon pianos and more, so turn it up. Since you can shoot anyone at any time, a careless draw can close off a character's story for that playthrough. Use the save slots to keep a clean run and a chaotic one side by side.
