Build the level as you play
Ultimate Chicken Horse is a party platformer where you and your friends build the course together while you race through it. Each round, everyone places platforms, traps, and hazards, then tries to reach the end. If you make it and your friends don't, you score points. The trick is to build a path you can actually cross while making the route as nasty as possible for everyone else. The game mixes strategic block placement with fast, twitch-based platforming, and it uses a huge library of blocks so no two rounds look the same.
Play together online or on the couch
You can play online, locally, or with a mix of both for up to 4 players, and online play is cross-platform. There is also Remote Play Together and a shared controller mode, so two people can share one controller or one keyboard. Pick from a cast of animals including a chicken, horse, sheep, and raccoon, then jump into Party Mode or one of the other customizable game modes and rule sets. You can also build and share your own custom levels, and compete for global best times on Challenge levels across all platforms.
What to know before starting
This is primarily a multiplayer game. Challenge levels can be created and played alone, but unlocking characters and levels requires playing one of the main game modes, like Party Mode, which are only multiplayer. The game ships with 21 levels that each have their own features, set in all sorts of strange locations, plus a level editor for making your own. Expect a competitive but lighthearted tone with a cartoony art style and a funky soundtrack.
