Build a Lethal Labyrinth
Trapper's Delight is a competitive party game where you and your rivals take turns constructing gauntlets of lethal contraptions and secret traps. Once the building phase ends, everyone must navigate the maze they helped create in real time. The goal is simple: reach the exit safely to score points. You need to build the most devious traps possible to stop your friends from scoring, but you also have to survive your own creation when the run begins. The game mixes strategy during the layout phase with fast-paced action during the escape.
Play With Friends or Solo
The game is designed as a couch experience, supporting local multiplayer for 2 to 4 players, though it requires at least one controller. If your group is spread out, you can also compete in online multiplayer for 2 to 4 players. Remote Play Together is available for those who want to join a session remotely. When you want to practice alone, the single-player Challenge Mode offers 48 puzzle levels to test your skills. Keep in mind that the developer notes the player base is small, so finding random opponents online is not always possible; playing with friends is the recommended route.
Tools for Creation
There are 28 traps and tiles available to place, giving you plenty of options for building devious paths. After a round, you can watch in-game replays to see how your traps caught the competition. Player customization includes a lot of hats to wear during matches. Beyond the built-in levels, the level editor lets you create new multiplayer and challenge levels, and you can share your creations on the Steam Workshop.
