Blending into the crowd
Hidden in Plain Sight is a local-multiplayer stealth party game where you control a character in a sea of identical NPCs. You get a task to complete and the means to eliminate the other players, but any move you make can give you away. The goal is to blend in with the crowd, finish the objective, and take out the other players before they get you. Rounds are quick and lively, and the game is easy to pick up with no gaming experience.
Playing together in one room
This is local-multiplayer only, supporting 2-8 players with no single player or online modes in the base game. Everyone shares the same screen and needs a controller. One simple mode, "Death Race," has players and NPCs racing to a finish line, where each player holds a gun with a single bullet. You can sprint ahead and risk standing out, or hang back with the pack. Other modes build similar tension around accomplishing a goal without drawing attention.
Before you start
The base game requires controllers and does not include single player or online play. Remote Play Together is available as a Steam feature. The game runs in 2D with pixel graphics, and rounds are short enough to keep the group rotating through matches.
